The Inn on the Lake is located in Glenridding, a short drive from Penrith and the M6 with spectacular views of Ullswater.

There is ample free parking in our car park.
The hotel is easily reached via the M6, taking junction 40 and then following the A66, west towards Keswick. At the first roundabout, by the Rheged Discovery Centre; take the A592 towards Ullswater, turn right when you get to the lake and then follow the shoreline of Ullswater to Glenridding. The hotel is on your left in the middle of the village.
Take a flight to the brand new Carlisle Lake District airport with Logan Air, from London Stansted, Belfast and Dublin airports. Flights can be booked via www.loganair.co.uk. More information about Carlisle Lake District Airport can be found here: www.carlisleairport.co.uk
Car hire from Carlisle Lake District airport can be arranged through www.glenrental.co.uk where pre-booked car hire will be waiting for you at the airport. Please note there is no car rental desk within the airport.

The nearest train station is Penrith (North Lakes). Penrith is on the main North West line with direct routes to London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
