followed by an illuminating lakeshore walk complete with hot punch, toasted marshmallows and
Christmas carols by the bonfire, where you can experience the beauty of the lake & mountains at night.

Kick off Christmas Day with a hearty Cumbrian breakfast, perfectly complimented by a Mimosa cocktail. Once you’ve woken up, enjoy some fresh air with a leisurely Christmas scavenger hunt around our spa gardens – complete it the fastest and you’ll win an exciting prize!
In the afternoon, the team invite you to take your seat as we present you with a delicious five-course Christmas Day feast. After your delectable meal, in true festive fashion, the King’s Speech will be available to watch in the Derwent Suite with Christmas cake, tea & coffee.
Enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure, whether you want to spend time exploring or unwind with loved ones. Our Cumbrian Lakes and Fells buffet will be served in the evening, if you manage to work up an appetite, and the day will be finished off with a Christmas Day quiz with the opportunity to win a fabulous prize.

Breakfast on Boxing Day would not be the same without a Bellini cocktail. Afterwards, if you feel fresh air is on the agenda, join our guided walk to a picturesque location. We’ll have a tasty snack and refreshments awaiting your arrival at a popular beauty spot halfway round your walk to put you on.
In anticipation of your return to the hotel, the team will have prepared an indulgent hot chocolate station where you can expect the full works - milk and white chocolate, Nutella, whipped cream, mini marshmallows and more. This is accompanied by our light buffet lunch for you to help yourself to at your pleasure. Don’t forget to have a go at guessing the weight of the Christmas cake for a chance to win a prize!
In the evening, join us for pre-dinner drinks in the bar where you can grab a fun prop and strike a pose in front of our magic selfie mirror. The photograph is then yours to take home as a memento of your stay. From here, make your way to the Lake View restaurant for a fabulous five-course black-tie dinner, including a delicious assiette of desserts, followed by live music from our resident singer.
