The Borrowdale hotel is happy to welcome well behaved dogs in a number of rooms – a custom dating back to when the hotel opened in 1866. Rest assured that our bedrooms are cleaned to a very high standard so if you’re not a dog person you won’t even know there’s been one in the room! We also have rooms which we don't allow dogs in, please let us know when you book if you would like one of these rooms.
Dog beds and bowls are also available so you don’t have to fill the car with all the extra baggage. We have dog friendly lounges and our conservatory where you can relax after a day exploring the Lakes.
We don't allow dogs in our restaurant however we are more than happy for you to dine in our lounges or conservatory with your dog, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Dogs can stay at the Borrowdale for £15 per night per dog. Book online and add in your dog as an extra.
