How can I get a pint for 40p?
The answer is really simple – all you need to do is order a delectable main course from the pub’s diverse food menu and you can enjoy a refreshing pint of Carlsberg or Wainwright Ale for a jaw-dropping 40p.
This promotion will run daily from 11:30am – 3pm throughout the month of November, providing the perfect opportunity to experience a delightful lunchtime in the Lake District. Why not pop in after your morning walk for a 40p pint in Keswick? We are also dog-friendly in our bar!
Please note: Guests are limited to one 40p pint per person, with the offer exclusively available to those purchasing a meal. 40p pints must be ordered simultaneously with the main course and cannot be requested before or after a food order has been processed.

This year marks 40 years since the Kings Arms Hotel became a proud member of the family-owned Lake District Hotels group.
We have put together an array of promotions throughout the year to celebrate this, such as: the launch of our Birthday Ale, a Ruby Gin exclusive to the hotel and special room promotions which have been available throughout the year. We are really excited to be able to offer 40p pints in Keswick!

With Christmas almost in reach, we want to help people and visitors of Keswick get into that festive spirit, so the 40p pint promotion will also coincide with the arrival of our attractive decorations, twinkling lights, and the commencement of our indulgent new festive dining menu.

The start of 2023 saw a comprehensive ground floor refurbishment at the Kings Arms Hotel, which preserved the hotel’s historic charm whilst incorporating a more charismatic and quirkier atmosphere, reaping critical acclaim from locals and visitors alike. It provides a character-brimmed setting to enjoy delicious home-cooked grub with that authentic community feel.

- Offer NOT VALID with the purchase of any sandwiches, jacket potatoes, starters, sides or desserts.
- Offer valid with the purchase of any Main Course, Pub Classic, Burger OR Pie ONLY.
- ONLY available at lunchtime between 11:30am – 3pm.
- Guests are limited to ONE 40p pint per person, per Main Course
- You MUST be eating a main course to be entitled to a 40p pint (I.e. if you are in a group of 4 but only 2 people in the group purchase a main course, only the 2 people dining will qualify for a 40p pint).
- 40p pints MUST be ordered at the same time as your Main Course order and cannot be ordered before/after a food order has already been processed. If you are dining in the bar, please place your order at the till. If you are dining in the restaurant, please place your order with your server.
- Guests must be 18 or over to participate.
- We are dog friendly and welcome your four-legged friends to dine with you in our Bar.
- We do not take bookings at the Kings Arms, please just walk in!
